Fully vetted & chipped; is on thyroid meds which need to be given twice a day for life; thyroid meds are inexpensive and approx. $40.00 for 3 months
Gilbert is an 8 - 10 year old gentle giant mix, a stray from a Toronto area who is just getting used to his new name. He is fully vetted, housetrained, shows no resource guarding (in fact shares), and is good with strangers. He’s also good with other dogs although at the shelter there was one dog who he didn't like much (possibly because the dog rushed in at his face and space (?)) very good on lead (but not to heel). He’s quiet and not interested in wildlife of any kind. He is on a healthy weight kibble. Loves his daily stroll (suggest 2 /day) and a couple rounds of playing with sticks. A ruggedly handsome chap, who can look sad even when happy!
